Winter Solstice ~ Full Moon ~ Lunar Eclipse 12.21.10
We are on the verge of experiencing a very powerful astronomical configuration. Winter Solstice during a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. Our Sun, Moon & Earth will be in alignment with the Galactic Core on the Galactic Plane. This occurs once every 25,600 years; how blessed we are to be alive to experience this at this time!
This is a powerful time to be in prayer, aligned within our higher truth, to have clarity of our intentions, and to focus on positive energy and manifestation.

Filled with inspiration and surrounded by nature's beauty; I dance, play, stretch, do acrobatics, yoga, and swim.
Nourishing the body, mind and spirit; renewing joy in life, and aligning the body to tune into Universal energies for health benefits and continued evolution.

Lana`i Ho`okupu Hula Festival
What an honor it was to participate accompany Aunty Puna, Minori and Shiori to the Lana`i Ho`okupu Hula Festival.
The people of Lana`i were so kind and welcoming. The natural beauty and mana of the island was a pleasure. Hula halau came from Japan, Oahu, Maui, Big Island, Kauai, and France!
This is the 2nd year of the Ho`okupu Hula Fest, it is sure to grow and flourish; sharing hula and Hawaiian culture with each other. I am thankful and blessed.

The Annual Hula Festival honoring our beloved Queen Emmalani; at Koke`e State Park. Sharing mele, hula and celebrating Hawaiian culture, it is truly a wonderful gathering in the beautiful forest of Kauai!
'Dance As Prayer' Workshop & Retreat
Celebrating Life, Dance, and Movement as Prayer; this dance workshop and retreat is co-facilitated by Nikola Bahna, Anjuli Mahendra and Pua La`a. The retreat will be on the beautiful island of Kauai, September 2010.
I will be teaching Yoga for the morning sessions, and sharing dance for the afternoon session.

Golden Metal Tiger Chinese Lunar New Year 2010 Celebration & Benefit for Haiti
I was honored to celebrate Life & Chinese Lunar New Year by participating in a benefit for Haiti. Guest artist Marco Leinhard played Taiko drum and Shakuhachi flute while I shared Chinese Ribbon and Sword Dances.
I wish to honor and thank Marco, Patricia Yu and the women's Taiko drum group, youth Taiko drum group, Isa Maria and the Love Tribe African drummers and dancers.
Thank you for a wonderful opportunity to share, co-create, and offer our assistance to the people of Haiti. Mahalo to the community of Kauai for supporting the arts and benefit for Haiti.
